Exactly. I go in early. I get a paper ballot, I vote, I have it scanned by the tallying machine (offline) and then the ballot gets put in a box.

You have the right system. I walk in, deposit the ballot in a box, and then it is in the hands of whoever does the counting. In California. Where "vote harvesting" is legal.

Totally agree. I've been enjoying the convenience of mail-in ballots, but promise to stop.

Oklahoma (Paper Ballot) — you have to be on the roll/register, have photo ID and sign beside your name on the paper roll. Lived in the same house for 40 years, but my DL had expired once and I had to cast a provisional ballot (in a local election). Knew all the poll workers, made no difference. That never happened again!

Glad to hear the poll workers checked. And glad the system allows for that also.

From the data I've seen, Republicans tend to vote the day of the election. Democrats are usually the early absentee voters.

Of course they are, it's easier to cheat that way

Their motto is vote early, vote often.

Get involved locally. Talk to your republican party and see how you can be part of the voting process.

I would like someone to ensure Nevada poll managers arent cheating. You can not vote in paper here.

Less time to fix / stuff ballots if we drop the votes last minute. I always vote the day of.

I've said this before, I will vote as soon as the early voting permits on the off chance that I die before election day. There is a small, but very real fraction of the population that will die between the early voting and election day. I do not intend to be one, but that's in God's control.

ps If I've already voted, it will be more difficult for Demokrats to steal my vote.

But I can leave knowing that I did my part.

Unfortunately, if you've already voted, they have a better idea of how much they need to cheat. It's a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't situation.

I have to vote early. I can't stand in a long line of people, and election day is going to be record-setting in my dark red precinct.

You may be making an assumption about a person's physical health. I don't mind standing in line, but I am fit, not heavily pregnant, etc.

It’s a reasonable assumption. Most people are capable of standing in a line, even if it’s long. We’re not the Left over here, we don’t have to police what we say in case someone is dIfFeReNtLy AbLeD
