Apparently he assumed Trump was guilty from the beginning. He broke one of the ten commandments in his speech: thou shalt not bear false witness. In the Book of Mormon, Nephi says "Wo unto the liar, for they shall be thrust down to hell." He also claimed God told him to convict.
