Good on him. He took a chance on starting podcasting before it was cool, by the time it hit main stream he already had millions of listeners. I applaud him.

Also, I disagree that he talks "nonsense". He has conversations with a vast range of different types of people he's interested in talking with.

Just started watching his old podcasts recently, though only his interviews with Graham Hancock, John Anthony West, Dennis McKenna and similar folks. In his very early episodes his sponsor was Fleshlight lol. Then later he had about 10 minutes of ads at the beginning of every show. Haven't seen any episode recorded past 2013 or so, so can't speak to what he does now.
