Last time were in ATX we completely avoided downtown area. Spent all my $$ and time in north and east (RoundRock).Homeless, panhandlers, drugged out people on the street in downtown. It's really bad.(Glad I don't run the tourism bureau in any of these dem-controlled cesspool cities. That'd be a tough job.) They need to MAustinGA!
Anybody that has lived in Austin knows what the real issue is. It's how the city counsel handles the homeless population. They put the homeless shelter in the middle of downtown right next to 6th street which is where all the bars and clubs are. When you mix drunks and mentally Ill homeless folks this is what you get. It has nothing to do with race or diversity.
All of downtown is gross. All the way up Metric and into Tech Ridge even. Whole city is disgusting, overpriced, arrogant and dirty in every sense of the word.
