If losers refuse to vote for him because he doesn't grant their wish on pot, then they just (once again) demonstrate their childishness. Sounds like a bunch of democrats.
MJ should just be removed from the schedule rankings and be left totally to states. Drug cartels are getting rich of hard drugs, Americans mostly grown their own weed, or buy from legit stores these days, no one wants mexican swag.
I remember when I was in H.S. a teacher told us all our weed was supporting terrorism and comes from Afghan. Told them that mine was Vermont Kind Bud and they can fuck off with their lies.
Having any drug legal anywhere in the Country makes it so easy to smuggle everywhere else that all having it illegal anywhere else would do is pointlessly fill up jail cells, legal Country wide or illegal Country wide no half measures please
I've been telling people for more than a year, this is how it's going to go down:
The dems will focus on drugs (they always do).
They try it out as a central campaign promise in the midterms.
It will be part of the franken-platform of the chosen dem candidate (where they will take all the most popular ideas of the other dems and roll them into one platform after they have secured the nomination.)
Then Trump will EO decriminalization, without fanfare, and without even making it a campaign promise or anything, he'll just quietly and concisely kill one of their central campaign promises.
In 2016 there were still more Trump supporters against MJ than there were for it. It would NOT have been a good idea to have anything to do with it. But this isn't 2016 anymore, public support has grown a lot since then, more states now legalize it than continue to criminalize it, more Trump supporters are former liberals, libertarians, and moderates than in 2016, and I don't think a single Trump supporter would choose not to vote for him in Nov even if they did disagree.
The reason Trump will do it, is not just because it's obviously now something more Americans want than not (I highly doubt that Trump himself agrees with recreational use, but I am sure he is aware of the medical implications, and how much more important it is to go after drugs like fent), but because the Dem goal is to monopolize it with a communist money making scheme like Canada did. If Trump decriminalizes, it not only shoots a hole in their campaign, it stops another profit making scheme and leaves the issue firmly in the hands of the states, where it should be.
Mark my words, I'll be shocked if we get to Nov and this doesn't happen.
I DESPISE Marijuana. The scent of it makes me feel sick and even angry. I also despise the kind of people who walk around high everywhere, with fucking pot leaf hat, pants, shirt, jacket, etc. If it's THE defining characteristic about you, you're doing it wrong.
But I don't care what people do far away from me. Smoke the fuck up, take a shower, and then take a nice slow careful walk to Walmart and I'll gladly ring your goofy ass up, or give you advice on Lawn and Garden related shit, fencing, grills, all the stuff I'm good at. If you reek of weed I'll be fighting the dual urges to vomit on your shirt and take a swing at you.
Flip Side: I am all for more dire, even draconian, penalties for people who drive while impaired by substances. As a guy with permanent nerve damage in one leg from someone who was driving who should not have been, no forgiveness for someone who drives while fucked up.
Personal Freedoms are the greatest things this nation has. Personal Responsibilities just need to match them.
Can't overdose on mj or shrooms both of which should be legal. Cigarettes and alcohol should be the illegal drugs due to the millions of deaths it causes.
And yet, so very many threads on mj go right to the bad trip experiences. You can overdose, particularly on edibles. Potheads are ignoring the obvious.
Go ahead, make it legal, and watch it get regulated. See California as an example.

I'm so sick of all you fucking pot heads. Go get your high and go back to the libtard party of stupidity.

I'm sure the votes will improve, and everyone will begin to make better choices, while high... eyeroll
At least MJ.

Man alive, the smell is awful. I agree with everything you said.
