Basically the wealthy plantation and buainess owners used slaves as cheap labor which screwed citizen working men out of jobs and pushed wages down. And just like the elites now tell us how diversity is great, immigrants are needed for all the great jobs we can't do, and blah blah don't be a racist, you Nazi, they told the average southern workers that slavery was natural because God wanted white men to give the savage Africans Christianity, the Protestant work ethic, and all the other bullshit. If you were against slavery, you weren't a good Christian and you hated capitalism, you bigot. Sound familiar?
In 50 years it will be taught how all white American males were all screwing over the immigrants too.
Never will it be mentioned that most white men, after seeing how immigration really worked, supported these types of illegal and visa workers and flooding the country to push down everyone's wages.
