The President should be grateful that the Republicans in the Senate stayed loyal to him during the impeachment . But it is time for them to do more. Lindsey Graham heads up the Judiciary Committee . That committee should be investigating the perpetrators of the Russian Collusion mess and the Ukrainian fiasco. They should start an investigation into the harassment of Donald Trump as a private citizen, when he was a candidate , and as President of The United States, I know that William Barr has John Durham handling some things but besides the criminal element of this there is a political element. That is where the Judiciary Committee could do some damage. They could subpoena Adam Schiff and ask him ask him to produce the evidence of Russian Collusion he said he had for over two years. During the impeachment he brought up Russia again, Put him in a Senate hearing room a grill him for all the world to see. Get Comey , Brennan and Clapper under oath and show the world who the real leakers and liars are. Get Stephan Halper too. Every one involved with the Russian Collusion debacle has to pay a political price. The President wanted Brennan's security clearance stripped from him. That never happened because the insiders in Washington protect each other. Even though they have been loyal to him , Cocaine Mitch and Lindsey Graham don't view the President as their equal. They both know they will be here long after he is gone and they don't want to risk changing the status quo. The President should demand the Senate start fighting as dirty as the Democrats do. That is the only thing that they understand. The Republicans act like they are above the dirty tactics that the Democrats employ. The future of the country depends on the Republicans fighting back. The Democrats will keep going after the president. They will next start impeaching the judges he has appointed starting with Brett Kavanaugh.
