I'm betting he deleted it for a few reasons, one he has supported stop and frisk in the past to some extent, but more importantly, two he would have taken the focus off Bloomberg and put it on himself. That's not how the internet works. A major twitter account deleting something is like a giant neon sign saying "LOOK AT THIS THING I DELETED!"
