Dont care about ethnicity, race, etc. Did they come here legally (no lying about family ties included), do they EMBRACE the general American beliefs, and are they willing to assimilate to American Society? I dont mean necessarily giving up all of their religion, but acknowledging women have value beyond being property? That we value our children and they are off-limits? That rape is not an acceptable process and is horrid no matter who the victim is? That Sharia Law is diametrically opposed to the Constitution and American way of life? These are just examples. If people really want to come, work hard, and live the American Dream they are welcome.

Serious answer, though. I don't speak for anyone else, but I try to avoid judging people just by what they look like or where they came from. I will judge them by how they act and how they treat other people.

Went for a walk in a park on my lunch break, and noticed a large Muslim family at a picnic area, very stern unfriendly people. On the other side of the park I noticed two teen girls with very long hair taking glamour shots of each other with a phone, posing and laughing. Then I noticed their shed hijab / robe type garments (whatever those are) on the ground next to them, and my first thought was, "Oh God, don't let them get caught and honor-killed." Not a fan of the religion myself.
Most of the one I know and work with on a daily basis are here in the US because they had to escape the bastards we're currently fighting. They love it here and see the US as the last bastion of hope and safety.
