Is anyone going to this on 20 Feb? I got a ticket and it'll be my first rally! Looking for advice! How early should I show up? Am I allowed to bring a backpack with supplies for the long line/wait? etc. :)

Went to a talk given by a rep from NRA today. She said just b/c you have a ticket, does not mean you will get in. Col Springs is very conservative, as is much of the rest of the state, besides of course the People's Republic of Boulder/Denver. Show up the night before and expect to camp out.
Mt wife checked the venue this morning...only seats about 7400. Thousands (including me and spouse) will likely have to settle for partying with the other patriots outside and hopefully getting to hear GEOTUS via speakers. Got a great job that keeps me from taking off very much time, so I can't camp out. Wish they would get bigger auditoriums for these events, but I understand why they do it this way. Keep the pedes hungry.
