You can, the law allows you to protect yourself and stop an attack. If a female gets in the ring she gets hit.
Personally, I don't see the point in hitting them back. Same with little guys. I treat them like women, too. The big issue I have is that little guys have a tendency to get ballsy when you treat them like women. It's so odd. They just don't realize it or something. But I have a lot of trouble hitting them, too, even when they deserve it, have it coming, and it would be completely legal to do so.
You need to shake off that stigma. A little person can shank you just as easily as a large person. Dont let lefties get the first strike on you because your morals stopped you from using your power to defend yourself.
Break them.
I'm not that easy to shank. I understand what you're saying, though - and I think you're right in some ways. Just defending myself from a non threat is difficult.
