Will come out with his report about 4 years after the start of the investigations, smears and expense against Trump and associates. You after retribution, revenge, vengeance, justice, a fair accounting? You won't get it.

Look I have no doubt there may be a couple of firings, a slapped wrist or two and maybe one sacrificial lamb, but when you look around and say, what about the promises of EVERYONE under the microscope and everyone being drained from the swamp, the establishment will laugh at your naivete.

There is a set order and one party gets more power than the other side. There is no one tier of Justice. Hillary will do whatever she wants and her punishment is she doesn't get to be president. McCabe and Comey get fired that is their punishment, Brennan gets his security yanked.

Now I like you may say, who gives a shit about that, one sacrificial lamb and a number of slapped wrists for all the illegality and scullduggery and for all the pain and expense for people like Stone and Flynn based on illegality? Yup.

Sorry I think that is all we get. Between now and Summer we get to wait with baited breath and put all our hopes on Durham. He will release his report towards the end of the Primary run.

It will be watered down in its conclusions regardless of the information. All but the most egregious (I am thinking people like that no name lawyer that altered documentation) will avoid the courts. In court most will skate. The one who is proven to do the worst and dead tor right will get a sentence that will make Stone and Mannafort's sentence look like two tiered justice.....because it is. It's calculated to encourage the deep state and punish Trump for winning.

It always was. It is designed to demoralize Republicans and Conservative voters. Punish them too for being. Comey, Brennan, Clapper? Don't look to them being jailed. Stroyk, Page, McCabe? Don't think so? Lynch, Clinton, Yates, Rosenstein, Mueller, Rice, Obama? Fantasy stuff

The swamp will swamp and Durham, Barr and Trump can only take solace in their cleverness at exposing and thwarting the efforts of the Dems and their efforts against them. No one will bother ever going up against the establishment after this. I commend Trump for being able to do so much with so little support

This is really well thought out and I think its a very fair assessment even if I dont really agree. Honest question though, even if you are completely right, do you think people like you and me are just going to fall back in line? The whole spy-gate fiasco has brought so much attention to systemic corruption we now have legitimate evidence to back up what was labeled "conspiracy theory" heading into 2016. Culture change takes a long time, and I dont think we can discount the ripple effect even small victories today will have in the future

No. I think this is some of the problem is that it is easy to ride on wins and to stand up against something when everyone else is and to be a beggar at the bowl of unrealistic expectation. To be realistic and still support and stand up is harder.

Is Trump wrong to stand up against the Democrats and Media and Deep State even when hew knows the grief he will cop and that the best he can do is expose their efforts and that they will get away with whatever they do? I think it makes it more important and more noble an enterprise. I think that he should be rewarded. There is really only one way to reward him and that is at the ballot box

Sadly, I think you are absolutely correct.

Two charges against the deep state so far. McCabe gets a pass (due to the “totality of circumstances”) and some Obama staffer got acquitted. We are 0-2 for those keeping score at home.

Comey dodged a bullet too because maybe other charges coming in Durham. Oh and Hillary dodged the email thing from Comey because he wanted her to win

You won't get it.

Well, at least you're keeping an open mind. /s

What's it like to be so sure of what will happen while also having zero knowledge about who Durham will indict?

It allows me to take stock of why and what I am doing and focusing my energy. Am I supporting Trump because I figure he will get half of Congress indicted....or even show shame? Because he will clear out the swamp entirely? Because we will feel justice?

Nah.

That is not to say this has all been for nothing but that stuff that happened including the deep state meddling, the lies, the biased court trying to hurt Page, Flynn, Mannafort and Stone? There is no justice to be sought there.

That is far from saying that they have all gotten away with things and it is a loss but we have to be realistic.

The Left/Progressives/Establishment/Globalist Elites/Deep state are all inherently intermingled. For years they consolidated their power irrespective of who was in government and it was about the only game to play in town. Look at the hit on credibility he has bought to bear on the Media and the deep State and the Democrat. Look at Hollywood and woke culture generally get maligned.

Power is getting siphoned and that IS important. The Western World had two leaders it looked up to and they dictated the one Western World culture. That was Obama and Merkle. They all fed at the same trough. Like him or hate him, America's influence flows out. How much further will his great influence change things in 4 years? As much as you would like? Enough?

We have to elect him for what he HAS done and what he CAN do and not be forlorn when the Durham report does not live up to hype.

Spare me your idiocy. We have one job, get this man re-elected. We do that by being honest in our expectations and about why what Trump is doing and in supporting the man. That is it.
