There was one lady who literally worked for a magazine called "The Globalist" who tried saying the term is anti-semetic. I'll try to find the source. But, the left does this sort of definition change to stop debate. It happens all the time.

People who are engaged honestly understand that there is one side that is constantly promoting world-government (e.g. United Nations, European Union) and mass immigration everywhere without regard to the interests of those who might not want to see their childhood cities completely changed as so many of ours have. A lot of business people will say (or at least they used to) that they are globalist implying they are against all trade barriers, etc.

Of course, many leftist Jewish people are globalists (except where it comes to Israel). But, so are many leftist atheists, Christians, etc.
