I have been involved with Scouts for 10 years and both my boys are Eagle Scouts. What killed them was not the girls or the pedos, trust me if any pedo tried to join my troop they wouldn’t be allowed. What killed them was allowing gays. Even though they are only a small part of the population LDS scouts made up 1/3 of the total members of scouts When they started letting gays in scouts, the LDS church slowly disengaged saying that the program was not meeting their needs. BSA only let in girls because they needed the cash. And it didn’t work.
