Please reread my comment and see one of your points answered. On the oath request: I have sworn allegiance to the flag, and to the Republic for which it stands. And I have sworn to defend our constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Couldn’t you have taken a second to think, since I already stated I’m a Veteran, and realize I have sworn many oaths to us, many times, and I have backed those oaths by my actions and service and decisions. I will do so for as long as I live, too. Because to me, America isn’t just a country. It’s a gathering of people and ideals worthy of laying down my life.

My son was born a dual citizen. We made sure to legally renounce his other citizenship and my wife's after she became a US citizen.
