I live in King County, Washington. Our state constitution allows for splitting up counties but never wrote a How to section into law. I was involved in a citizens initiative to split King Co into West side Leftist, East side conservative which is how it is today but the leftist control the city, county, and state government. The same will go for Oregon counties. The left will build a wall to keep you in their control.
Used to live in King County. We need Seattle to secede from the state. King county would be amazing. But seriously, having suburbs dictate to wilderness areas is just stupid.
Requires legislative and congressional approval. But seriously, we need more states out west. All the western states need to be broken up. They are too big and too diverse in terms of climate and ecology.
If only we the people could remove state rights from clear corruption. Send them back to being territories until they figure out their state constitutions again. Then, if need be, redraw the territory boarders.
