The solution 2015-2018 or so was at T_D, which, as a practical matter, functioned as a Committee of Correspondence. We are here today because it was effective, and we scared the living daylights out of a would-be emerging oligarchy.
One thing that fascinated me about T_D was its rowdy acceptance of anybody who wanted to MAGA, regardless of political trivialities such as sex, race, religion, or national origin.
While the Democrats seemed to be determined to break our social compact from every direction they could imagine, T_D welcomed all, and memed the insanity out of the way.
It's up to us, in combination with our President and his policies, to re-knit our frayed social compact. We can and should welcome anybody who wants to MAGA, and celebrate excellence, family, and human happiness.
