They need to be fired and made examples of. You either work or get fired.

Fuck their feelings.

buco 11 points ago +11 / -0

I don't know about Cali, but here in NC if you walk off your job you can be fired immediately.

Gonzotron5000 5 points ago +5 / -0

They used their PTO to do the protest. No company time was wasted technically. Cant fire someone because you dont like how they use their PTO.

5
mightyclaw 5 points ago +5 / -0

On the other hand, work for a woke corporation and be photographed at a Trump rally on your PTO day and see what happens.

Gonzotron5000 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think the civil thing to do is to keep employees that make you money and if supporting TRUMP or the elites gets in the way then you let them go.

PTO = Paid Trump Outrage

Organizers demanded that Oracle and Ellison give money to support a humanitarian cause such as climate change, denounce the Trump administration and commit to diversifying the company’s board.

Ah leftists.. demanding the funding of crime interests and welfare and free stuff for their favourite oppressed POC of the day. If diversity must be imposed by threat of violence rather than by a pragmatic analytical business case, then perhaps its because its no good.

Ok out of 136,000, 300 walked out and 8000 signed the petition. Why didn't the AT&T Employees walk out when they gave money to the Clinton Campaign? That's why I don't have AT&T any more. What do you think was on the Clinton Server? Would that be Arms deals for our enemies? Hmmmmm ????

Also employees used PTO. Not technically a walk out.

"The workers argued the chairman’s public support for Trump violated Oracle’s diversity, inclusion and ethics policies, and harmed the image of the world’s second-largest software maker."

LOL, the fucks put orange man bad in their company policy, and these fucks organize politics on company time and resources?!? OUT OUT OUT!!

wideawake 7 points ago +7 / -0

lol THEY are showing Lack of diversity by not accepting other viewpoints, I thought was the whole point of D & I?? Also, they have just offended many of their colleagues, and made them feel uncomfortable. Their colleagues could justifiably go to HR and report them for their lack of D&I.

DarkRiver 14 points ago +14 / -0

They can go there are lots of people waiting to fill their positions. Deranged idiots

tasteslikeham 10 points ago +10 / -0

LOL. I work there and didn’t know about it

polish_snausage 10 points ago +10 / -0

I'm sure if they got laid once in awhile they be better people.

wideawake 6 points ago +6 / -0

Who would want to fuck a liberal? A retard?

5
Marshall 5 points ago +5 / -0

By what? They can't even figure out what they want.

9
AmazingAlphonseA 9 points ago +9 / -0

Personally, I hope those who walked out just quit.

If you're offended by the political views of your boss, why are you insisting working for him?

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Leftists don't operate thst way. If they don't like what you do, you have to change for them. They never need to change for you.

reefacts 9 points ago +9 / -0

Some Oracle workers who participated in the “log off” used vacation time for the protest, the people said.

Hahahahhahahahahah. Stunning and Brave.

8
gdm117 8 points ago +8 / -0

Are these employees discriminating against another employee because of their political beliefs?

8
Hexagon 8 points ago +8 / -0

Lots of interest in working at Oracle. Maybe they should be let go.

8
Klcbva 8 points ago +8 / -0

Wait, so they walked out but don’t want to share their names for fear of consequences?

8
MI_MAGA 8 points ago +8 / -0

“who asked not to be identified for fear of retribution.” These people are afraid of even the smallest consequences for their actions they only protest anonymously.

8
datagod 8 points ago +8 / -0

Demote them. Let them see how shitty life really is at the lower levels.

7
Deplorable_in_PA 7 points ago +7 / -0

I worked in management. This would fall under "willful work stoppage" and absolutely would be grounds for disciplinary action leading up to termination, even under a union contract.

7
KeepingAmericaGreat 7 points ago +7 / -0

When an employee allows their work to suffer for whatever reason, it is justified for management to step in and find out what's going on, then solve the problem to the benefit of the company.

1
OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lots of them aren't even Americans.

7
BeauBidenBrainTumor 7 points ago +7 / -0

Good for Larry Ellison for representing Oracle's best interest instead of SJW politics. I wish Google would learn to do that.

6
ShiffsDeadHooker 6 points ago +6 / -0

There are plenty of people who'd love their jobs. Let's hope they get them.

Start with No Work/No Pay. Then after they've used up leave/vacation that would have been paid if not for their political protest on a job site, No Work/No Job.

6
SwampSwan 6 points ago +6 / -0

They need to 'somehow' show on the books as having resigned. Fuck these SJW snowflakes.

4
OrangeManNotBad [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Right on! LOL and enjoying it! TRUMP 2020!

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Haul them all in to HR for a warning. Isn't it lawful to fire them after 3 of these? There are plenty of people to fill their places.

6
flashersenpai 6 points ago +6 / -0

What an entitled mindset to think you can tell not just your manager what they can think, but a fucking chariman of the whole company. Who are you? It's none of your business.

5
calvinb1970 5 points ago +6 / -1

Maybe they are Google spies considering the on going law-suite with Java code being stolen to make the Android operating system.

5
generalshermansballs 5 points ago +5 / -0

Wild cat strike. Should be punishable under labor law.

gawd-emperor 4 points ago +5 / -1

No they should have their salary lowered in half, they will quit themselves. It's a big cost to fire an employee

4
Govols 4 points ago +5 / -1

Fire the bitches!

Maybe not by Larry Ellison...
