Need more details on this one for sure. But yes, God Bless that woman for having a soul and preventing that from happening to a 12 year old. (At least for now)

The Sheriff's Office did not say why Miller's granddaughter had been hospitalized, but Pamela Miller told WWL-TV that doctors were trying to send the girl to a mental health facility.

She said her mother brought the 12-year-old to Ochsner's ER on the recommendation of the child's neurologist.

"She's just being sad lately and just has a couple of depression problems and that's the reason we brought her in," Miller said.

If the other facts in the story are true, moving the girl without the consent of her parents seems like it ought put the hospital staff in hot water.

I went looking to see if this was a satire site, and it looks like although a kidnapping happened, no other article exists that talks about "transgender surgery".

Moreover, it would be seriously strange to perform surgery on a 12yo whatever because his/her body isn't even fully developed yet, so they'd have to adjust things in five more years.
