Exactly, I remember when SARS and Swine Flu came out. Almost everyone was screaming "its the end of the world we must prep". However when these cases came to the U.S a handful of deaths (from elderly and people immune compromise) the rest recovered.

It did one thing though, UV-C lamps were installed at hospitals, the docks, airports, fast food joins or anywhere large gatherings took place (most of the time they were rolled out during flu season). Our waste treatment systems as under-maintained as they are, have effectively been able to block pandemics due to fear of bio-chemical agents being used against us in 2001-2008.

Take in point...look how shitty California is. Typhoid, TB, and the Plague...the damn plague (the one that killed 100 million before onset of modern antibiotics) has somehow skirted three virulent diseases that we know can kill on mass. Yes, its ok to prep (we should have a prep for natural disasters) but to scream end of days is a bit... of a stretch.

Now if this thing was like the Dollar flu from Division...well we wouldn't be on here. However this should serve as a massive wake up call, China cannot be trusted. We need to move 80% of everything out of that nation and bring it back on national security grounds. So if China decides it wants to play god...we can just glass them and neutralize the disease before it spreads further.
