Meh. I kinda like being bot-free. It makes the site feel more organic.
the ones I reference don't post or comment willy-nilly, they respond to keywords. it's a fun extra thing to give people, and keeps a running tally of how nice we have been to each other. where is the problem with being inorganic?
Well, just try it for a few weeks. It’s hard to explain why it seem better, but I’m guessing after a couple of weeks you won’t want those bots back.

Ah, sorry, so many noobs today I’m starting to get a little testy. And every other post is either “I hate Reddit” or “why isn’t this site more like Reddit?”.
Anyway, I kinda like the site being slightly less gimmicky - a few less references to kekistan, etc. it’s part of our history, I know, and it’s clearly subjective.
And the high energy can be intoxicating. But all the new people coming in talking about how they want to “get back” at Reddit, etc., just reminds me that there is no reason to mimic the previous site too closely.
I’m not hard over, that’s just my 2 cents.

like I said, we only had them working for like two days here. obviously don't need that for the more in-depth discussion and adult atmosphere of here vs t_d, as I remember it. but hopefully we are going to cater to this new influx. hopefully mods don't wait too long and do a hard switch. either way, bells and whistles, at least for a time, might be pretty cool.
We don't need fillers. We can talk about real things here.
