I don't know about that. A lot of people frequent multiple subs, and so long as they are unique enough people have no reason to not split up. For example I would usually check the front page of t_d, browse the comments, then go to subreddits that were based around my other interests. It helps since once you go past the first couple pages of any sub the content tends to get thin, and if you don't feel like discussing politics one day you can engage more in other communities.
Maybe just a couple different ones for specific subjects like gaming, guns, and movies / tv to begin with.

No one gets a free shot on Trump without him hitting back and we need that so badly where we are right now. It is actually quite terrifying the chokehold these assholes who would suppress political discourse have.

To be honest I still am not a huge fan of Trumps style but I will absofuckinglutely vote for him in 2020. No one gets a free shot on Trump without him hitting back and we need that so badly where we are right now. It is actually quite terrifying the chokehold these assholes who would suppress political discourse have.

I have been telling people that a lot of people who "didn't get Trump" the first round, are pretty much sold this time around.
Well that and the fact that I was last posted in a solid blue state and my vote did not matter anyways. Now I am in purple place and my votes matters so much more now.... I will gladly check the box for President Trump for four more years.
This is a big thing. Gary Johnson actually siphoned off about 5 - 7% of the vote in swing states, and a lot of people didn't bother voting because they thought both sides were equally terrible.
With Trump showing legitimate leadership capability, sound policy decisions and actually being experienced to the position now, I think a lot of conservatives who sat out in 2016 will vote for him too. Especially if Commie Sanders is the nominee.

They’ll put in their own mods and it will be a complete take over from within. They tried shutting it down but the admins opened it back up.
That's what's so insidious about it. We can't shut it down (they tried!). They're replacing mods Body Snatchers-style, and next they'll presumably try to turf the place with "Hello fellow caterpillars, do you too also regret your vote now?" concern trolls before they realize that it's not Magic Dirt (magic ones and zeroes?) that made T_D great, but rather us, and it'll subsequently fade into being yet another moribund artificial leftist shill zone.
I'm proud of the TD mods.
Politics and most other subs had their mod accounts secretly sold to chinese and other media/political interests. They cashed out big time thinking it was just their one account. Over time all the big subs become moderated by Islamists, Chinese communists and american socialists.
They put on the skins of the old mods and kicked out the ones they couldn't buy off.
Our mods at TD never sold out. They fought to the end. Reddit had to outright ban them and openly insert their own people.
I wonder how much it took to sell out, 3k? 5k? Buy themselves a couple trips then come back to a meaningless existence? Gross.

For the first time since opening day, the site runs slowly at times. Not a complaint it's a moment of wonderful, pedes coming home from everywhere. It's Trumptasic.
For a long time I've been looking at both sites, but now I'll just focus on this site. Why bother with Reddit now? It's now very obvious that the whole site is manipulated to push an agenda. Sad that it has become such trash, but this is what the site's owners wanted.

Can someone explain why the upvotes on reddit are also going up so high? I saw an American flag with 21k upvotes, we haven't seen those numbers in a long time.
Reddit is inserting their own management. Management will only approve chinese communist approved content from now on. Reddit has begun taking off the suppression algorithms so they can cash in on the always enormous userbase for advertisers.
