ok, so everyone is talking about reddit cucks banning users for upvoting on the_donald. is it a ploy to get many of us off platform and keep us from being informed of what is going on during the election? we have this, but doesnt it become an echo chamber if we dont access other opinions?

There's the rest of the internet out there, plus the real world.
Nothing is stopping anyone from accessing other info or opinions. Personally, I make an effort to engage, generally politely, with others who might think differently.
Reddit (and the left in general) has tried to deny Trump supporters a place to organize, but the best they are accomplishing is to push us off their platforms, and onto better ones.
