The call for new moderators is suppose to close tomorrow 2/27. At that time the reddit admins will install their own leftist mods, and boot the patriot mods.
I believe their plan for this is to turn T_D into a trap. It will have posts that give lukewarm praise to our amazing president (to keep up appearance), but will be flooded with commenters that criticize GEOTUS. They will say things like "This isn't what I voted for", and "Why is he doing this, he's betraying us."
Even simple logic will prove these people wrong, but it won't matter. The prey for this trap are people that are wishy washy on who to vote for, and are looking around. These people probably don't read much past the headlines, and are looking for a group that will pat them on the back for following along.
This is election interference. Plain and simple. It will be more effective than $100,000 of facebook ads, or however many ads they claimed they bought during the muh russia hoax.
If true then why in the hell wouldn't we show proof of that and spread it all over Reddit with links showing that we got rid of the subreddit that everyone supposedly hates so bad and they just brought it right back..... ?
Because the rest of reddit won't care. The rest of reddit tacitly supports whatever abuse the admins throw our way, because the reset of reddit hates us.
Make no mistake: if/when we abandon t_d, they WILL commandeer it and use it against the Trump campaign. Imagine the possibilities for spreading disinformation that will give them? "T_D is slowly changing their mind about Donald Trump" or other made up nonsense.
You're absolutely right, but it's already compromised. They can ban you and take over your username, edit your comments, whatever. I don't for one second believe that they won't stoop to any of this and if I can think it up in minutes, I'm sure they already have thought of it too.
My idea is to turn it into an ironic sub. We know that's what they want, so we give it to them, but satirically. Tell them that your love of breadlines has made you decide to come out as a Bernie supporter.
Tell them that Donald's success at building the wall made you reconsider your support of him and that you now endorse Butthead (the real one, not Mayo Pete) for President.
Tell them that your wife's boyfriend finally convinced you that Communism is the only way forward.
The more loudly we turn it into a parody sub, the more they'll be unable to use it against us. We should do it loudly and ironically and ask for a full pardon because we've (satirically) become the cucks they wanted us to be all along.
