Hello I just made the switch over here and my first thought is... Isn't this a copy of reddit? This site is laid out exactly the same.
Could reddit sue us and shut this website down for copying their layout?
I am no lawyer, just wondering?

Speaking as someone who's dealt with legal issues regarding software usage, it's not an issue.
This site looks like a copy, but if you saw it early on, it was a shell of what it is now. They built this. Functionality was created to replicate Reddit like style, but it's not the same code.
In the software world, anything not an exact copy at the code level is okay, unless specifically allowed under license. You can build the same "functionality" in an almost limitless ways with code style, and different languages. Ex; anyone can build a search engine that feels like Google, but you can't use Google's code to do it (unless explicitly allowed).
