an easier way to directly post images and videos instead of image host links to images and videos. I hope someone is working on that.

I'm sure it's on the agenda but there's probably a whole host of issues that need to be worked out.

It wasn't that long ago that even reddit got the upload feature. I don't remember it being available in 2016. I remember we were using imgur then they started censoring us so we switched to magaimg.net (which is apparently gone now).
