FYI, I posted this as a comment on Shadowman3001’s (God bless this and all formers and current mods) post, but thought I should make a post because I know for fact that there’s been as many lurkers as members.

Here it is: Dear T_D, first of all I want to thank everyone who had been an active positive member on the sub. I have been a lurker since before the 2016 election, a pretty obsessive one at that. I watched just about all the happenings and I came here because I quickly realized that it’s one of the few places to get a real feel for what is going on. Note that I’m not even an American but I’ve been here long enough to know what’s what. Most of my friends are left and buy into BS such a Schiff for example but I try my best to challenge them and they once in a while hit that aha moment. I traversed the entire spectrum of leanings until I found that the only place with the least amount of brainwashing or people trying to control the minds was here. I saw the evolution of what is ostensibly a ban at this point. And it is despicable, but I don’t fault spez and his patrons because they are clearly in extreme desperation. I have signed up here even thought I was never signed up on reddit for fear of somehow getting on some list. I remember when a friend first got me hip to T_D, it didn’t take long for me to realize the magnitude of what it was. I’m almost certain that reddit admins actually saw the real volume of traffic on that sub and it scared them shitless. It was probably bigger that the second on order of magnitude both in membership and activity and nothing they could do could stop that train. People here were too smart to fall for BS. Just so you know my friend that brought me here 4 years ago is black and so am I. We share the fact that we hate being manipulated, are avid fans of 1984 and brave new world literature, and to some extent Ted Kazinsky. I wish you all success, I hope that your train can never be stopped and that trump vindicates you all in Nov until the mind control machine is broken. Side note if you loved this sub, check out the podcast No Agenda with Adam curry and John C. Dvorak. They do excellent jobs of cutting through media manipulation. Just be patient till you get the hang of their show. I can’t vote obviously as a foreigner here for work, and I don’t curse, but don’t fucking get complacent in Nov. get your inspiration from the mods, they’ve put in a full shift for years for free, while shills are getting paid every which way. 2016 was a pause in the matrix and you just might break it this year. Some of you don’t even know how shit things would have been if not for 2016. That was a God send, and believe me I don’t even dig GEOTUS too much, but I know the gravity of what he has done and what could’ve been. Thank you again. Keep up the fight.
