This dip is the market pricing in the possibility of a Sanders nomination/presidency. You'll notice it began immediately upon his decisively winning the Nevada caucus.

Never listen to the news media about their "reasons" for markets doing anything. In fact you can do quite well counter-trading anything they suggest.
The market was just too far away from the 200 daily moving average. This is just a typical pullback.
All they’re doing is trying to setup another way to take President Trump down. His re-election is right around the corner and they’ve ran they’re playbook all the way down to just killing people to regain power. Yes I've noticed dips in markets that wouldn't even be affected by COVID-19. It sucks but I'll await the opportunity to buy back up cause we all know Sanders ain't getting in!
Conventional wisdom is he can't win, yes, but the possibility has to be priced in. i.e. what if he is the nominee and God forbid something happens to President Trump
