Just hopped on over here from The_Donald and made an account a few minutes ago. I'm excited to see where this website goes. Hopefully it will be as big and influential as the subreddit.
I'm on chrome on a Google pixel. It's kind of annoying but not too bad. I imagine things will have to get a lot more streamlined if there is a large migration here. I just don't want to support Reddit at all anymore. I won't be returning to the website for anything.
Reddit is a lost cause. Even with some media attention brought to the situation, nothing has changed for the better. It's become a total leftist shithole website.
OP is using a Google Pixel device, not Google the search engine.
Personally, I'd suggest giving mobile Brave a try. The ability to block most ads and third party trackers improves performance on a ton of sites and reduces battery consumption.
I agree that Brave is an excellent browser. I still keep other browsers on my computer (because they may be useful for certain bank web sites, etc.,), but I use Brave whenever possible. I also like DuckDuckGo as a search engine.
Microsoft Edge for Android has been my go-to for some time. It now has adblock and tracking protection built in plus allows setting DuckDuckGo as default search.
I strictly use Brave on mobile devices. I use Firefox everywhere else because of its superior tab handling. Outside Mozilla's stupid politics, I'm not sure why Firefox gets so much hate. The telemetry included isn't terrible and it's easy to disable.
The only reason I don't use Firefox on Android is because it's not quite as smooth an experience as WebKit/Blink based browsers and it's somewhat worse with battery life even with aggressive handling of third party resources via extensions (I use uMatrix).
Duckduckgo has a mobile browser now. Been using it for a little while now. It's fast and blocks websites (like Facebook and Google) from tracking you. Still a browser but at least it's not Google.
It is an interesting cryptocurrency idea (Basic Attention Token, BAT) that the Brave browser people developed for solving the adpocalypse. Creators get tipped by some factor x the time users spend on the site. Users can get tipped for accepting some targeted ads (if they want).
Although cryptocurrencies are looked down upon, this can be an alternate source of "income" for the site managers to fund future projects. I have earned ~$10 in BAT from accepting certain ads every now and then (Brave blocks all others inherently). With a lot of traffic, I bet this site could get lots of revenue in BAT and store it in a secure crypto wallet someplace. Easily converted to other cryptos or USD if needed.
I would if it had a screen brightness dimmer. I don't like dark themes....I have to use Pale Moon and old classic firefox apks in order to get a decent browser dimmer.
Firefox is decent. Folks from Firefox split off and created Brave. Firefox still has some issues re: privacy and whatnot, but it is certainly better than Chrome.
We were quarantined in old T_D so it made it extremely difficult for new users to find us regardless. Our memes also weren't headed anywhere in reddit since we were banned from /r/all as well.
What I'm trying to say is we were already in an echo chamber, just against our will.
Nothing is stopping us from linking [dot]win instead.
I would suggest also spreading over to other Reddit-like websites such as Voat, Poal and Saidit. Afterall, it doesn't hurt to branch out to other sites.
Not a bad idea but we should keep organized here. No use being divided that's what the cucks want us to do. Birth the memes here then spread to the masses.
I hope that a massive amount of users do. I know that some will want to keep fighting the good fight there, but I think it's better that everyone loves here and makes this an untethered and uncensored powerhouse against Reddit.
It will take time. I'm not deleting my reddit account because I think we all need to go back frequently and pull T_D pedes over here. That's crucial to getting numbers up.
We also need to branch out to other reddit subs. I have reddit karma I may as well spend down.
I do actually feel pissed off how this is actually legal for spez to do this but I see how he is doing this legally.
Don't be quite so certain. No one's yet had the balls to try litigation on the grounds of running afoul of the Communication's Decency Act. All it takes is to decide whether these companies are platforms or publishers. If they're eliminating wrongthink political opinion on the platform, then it could be argued they're acting as a publisher of user comments. This could open them up to potential legal trouble, because if they're a publisher, then they may be held liable for user-generated content.
.win feels like T_D in the early days. Scrappy upstarts fighting upstream against bullshit. Voices in the wilderness. It's a good feeling and it will only grow.
I joined the DOM when there was around 5k members and am sad to see it go. Here's to the chance to rise from the ashes of the dumpster fire that is reddit.
They're not excluding us. We are excluding them getting our support and involvement on their site. I've modded a big site before, and I can promise this hurts their bottom line. Advertisers and investors do NOT like major controversy and instability especially when it's generated internally!
They should have be fucking changing to suit OUR needs and wants. Instead they made it unpleasant for us. I don't keep going to places that suck. When IHOP jacked up their prices and fucked up the menu I didn't beg them to change it back. I STOPPED FUCKING GIVING THEM MY MONEY!
It's reddits loss to lose us. We are the majority party, and they're a bunch of crybaby fucks that are on their knees at the altar of communist China.
Forked from de-googled chromium and has a decent built in adblocker along with tor support. (Also the owner of Brave software is the inventor of JavaScript and got kicked out of Mozilla because he has some conservative views.)
I hate to be the one to ask, but now that we're here, we need to have a backup to our backup? What's the plan for when/if the hosts are pressured to shut this site down as well? Surely pushing us off reddit was not the final step
I can’t believe the reddit mods made me angry enough to make my first online account. I don't even really like Trump, but will be voting 3rd party, due to these undemocratic acts.
I love it here "...and I see a whole army of my countrymen, here, in defiance of tyranny. You've come to meme and shit post as free men, and free men you are."
Everybody new here from reddit. Do not go back. We were a huge part of Reddit's traffic, which is why they never did and still haven't outright banned the sub. Make sure they lose our clicks and page views and therefore revenue. Make sure they know they made a major business mistake and will now lose money over it
Is there a way to view this website in Old Reddit mode, with text only, no pics? I can't be having these pics on my work computer's monitor. This is a problem at the office.
Does anyone else feel like we are just giving up and running scared. We should be all over reddit annoying them and dropping redpills. If we just all leave and come here it feels like we are giving them exactly what they want. They will have successfully silenced us and we helped them do it. I'm not saying I'm not grateful to our mods for building this site and everything else cuz I am, but I just feel like they are winning by getting rid of us. I dont know....feels bad man ?
I want to know what protections this place has for being de-platformed. They can go after our hosting provider and our financial transactions. They do it all the time. The Fake Stream Media can run a bunch of stories on how this is a hub of racism and it's lights out.
Very important question! I too would like to know this. Additionally, I think it's very important that the mods remain strict about racist posts, etc. We're more than likely to have false flag shills come in here to plant "evidence" of our "hate speech" and use it to attack advertisers, providers, and anything else they can reach. Not that they won't anyway, but no reason to give them free fodder. Plus, not interested in becoming Voat.
I may have to remove adblockers for here though. I normally hate to, but all the support we can give, not to mention free market appeal we can drive, will be needed.
So will y'all make this a place for people on the right with subs for various other topics than Trump?
It is NEEDED since the left is in all out war against the right.
I am sick of them and their offensive and insane mental illness rages and violence against people with sense and sanity.
Just got here and created an account minutes ago, after seeing news of the subreddit purge on Breitbart. I am REALLY looking forward to the Nov. Trump Tsunami. Yesterday, I had a disappointing phone call with a guy I have been friends with for decades. He was raging on about how his neighbor in NC was an idiotic Trump supporter. Click. Well, so much for that relationship.
Was never a member of The_Donald but I always supported what you guys did there. Found this place and I couldn't join fast enough.
Silicon Valley can try and run interference for their failing party of choice but they will never crush our spirits, they will never silence our voices.
It's much slower than Reddit (understandable) and the traffic is going to outpace the server capacity before long. Half the time when you hit the back button it puts you through that DDOS check that takes at least 5 seconds and sometimes it just hangs there.
Aside from those issues and the lack of a member and current user count display it's all good.
Hopefully with time they will iron out all the bugs, i figure now that t_d is finally done this site is just starting to get used by most people. We are like the beta testers.
I'll be checking here instead of T_D (assuming it still exists by next Monday) from now on - I usually lurk over there but I've had enough of the bullshit. It's like a bunch of 12th graders are running Reddit and don't at all see the irony of what they're doing.
I wasn’t a Reddit user but saw about all this on Rantingly and also would love to see mass migration away from Reddit. I can’t stand all the ridiculous censorship.

Just hopped on over here from The_Donald and made an account a few minutes ago. I'm excited to see where this website goes. Hopefully it will be as big and influential as the subreddit.
We really need an app. I hate browsing on my LG's chrome browser.
I'm on chrome on a Google pixel. It's kind of annoying but not too bad. I imagine things will have to get a lot more streamlined if there is a large migration here. I just don't want to support Reddit at all anymore. I won't be returning to the website for anything.
Reddit? They will from now on only be referred to as they/them/it.
"It is such a commie site. Avoid it at all costs."
"They are bent on the destruction of America. Don't give them views."
Advertisers they get funding from, need to be boycotted."
I'm in the process of deleting all my comments then I'm gonna burn the account.
Same. Use ... as replacement. Just deleting doesn’t really remove them
Reddit is a lost cause. Even with some media attention brought to the situation, nothing has changed for the better. It's become a total leftist shithole website.
See r/Trump
Bland and the mods allow shilling to run free while slapping the hand if you shoot back. Trump won’t have a presence on that site.
Deleted all my posts and comments, which took forever- then closed my account. No more traffic from me, ever.
Hell yeah
Nuke Reddit History extension.
This script (Python) will download your post/comment history:

Try using DuckDuck go for a search engine.
I admit I don't use it on my desktop much, but it's absolutely the best mobile browser at this point in time.
The mobile bookmarks sync is also very useful.
Microsoft Edge for Android has been my go-to for some time. It now has adblock and tracking protection built in plus allows setting DuckDuckGo as default search.
I don't know how I feel about this.
I'm using Firefox on Android, and it's great because I can use the same add-ons I use at home on mobile (ie, ublock origin)
Edit: Looks like this might change this spring.
Seconded
Or Gibiru....
Duck duck go
Duckduckgo has a mobile browser now. Been using it for a little while now. It's fast and blocks websites (like Facebook and Google) from tracking you. Still a browser but at least it's not Google.
Y'all really should be using the Brave browser: https://brave.com/
An app would be cool too. But in the memetime, don't use Chrome. Ever. Google is evil.
I second this. Mobile Brave is really great.
As another point that I've made elsewhere:
I think a great idea is to implement the Brave rewards system in the Brave browser: https://brave.com/brave-rewards/
China: BAT soup TheDonald.win: BAT earnings
This. It is annoying being told "well I prefer the browser" too. I don't.
I hope someone will be able to put an app together, although I admit I have no idea of the scope of such a project.
Yeah I'm on chrome on my OnePlus 6 and it's fucking cancer trying to navigate on mobile.
Yeah we need to iterate this process but thank god we have a place to go.
We need to be prepared for if/when Cloudflare decides to dump us, too. They've caved to Leftist pressure before.
What prevents you from also redpilling on Reddit?
I'd argue that it's even better this way, because the "you post in T_D" wildcard objection is no longer applicable.
That's probably the most difficult question to answer.
We were quarantined in old T_D so it made it extremely difficult for new users to find us regardless. Our memes also weren't headed anywhere in reddit since we were banned from /r/all as well.
What I'm trying to say is we were already in an echo chamber, just against our will.

This place is freedom defined. Land of the free.
Yes, lets hope the traffic keeps up.
This is the way.
This is the way.

So say we all. (It's been awhile)
It will take time. I'm not deleting my reddit account because I think we all need to go back frequently and pull T_D pedes over here. That's crucial to getting numbers up.
We also need to branch out to other reddit subs. I have reddit karma I may as well spend down.
Yes.
Branch out to other subs and downvote the shit out of stuff.
Don't they know that 10,000 users downvoting anything new will fuck up their site and make it as unworkable as they made T_D?
Downvoting is fine, but I've also starting trolling. If Reddit wants to force us out, we need to make that place toxic.
Spoiler alert: it's been toxic for years now. But your point is still a good one.
I can't get more banned from /pol than I already am.
Downvoting uses karma?
No, I meant commenting on other subs and getting downvoted, thus losing karma.
Ahhhh well karma is a joke anyway. I purposely make fun of neckbeards, get downvoted to hell, amd still have really good karma over at that shithole.
Glad to have you back, pede. We live to shitpost another day!

A bit tamer for sure. But I can still feel the energy.
The slow censoring/brainwashing gets to all of us over time. A few months of freedom ought to reverse that trend.
We are the new frontier.
Yes! I know things are rough right now, but it will get better! We just need to spread the word and stick together!
It is fren!
Reddit is full of faggot queer retard degenerates run by (((them))). I'm glad not to support those subhuman fascists anymore.
Not subhuman, just mislead and kool-aid drinkers. They wouldn’t be trying to shut us down if were wrong about everything!
Here, there is no way to stop our winning
They're not excluding us. We are excluding them getting our support and involvement on their site. I've modded a big site before, and I can promise this hurts their bottom line. Advertisers and investors do NOT like major controversy and instability especially when it's generated internally!

FUCK. THAT. SHIT.
Need an app, and need RES styling to disable the CSS theme. I cannot have this UI showing at work, I'll get fired.
Firefox -> Tools -> Web Developer -> Style Editor, from there delet the css
Safari -> Develop -> Disable Styles (requires you to enable the developer menu in safari settings)
Chrome -> don't use chrome, they'll happily sell your data for using it, unlike Mozilla or Apple.
Isn't Firefox woke too?
It is, but not as bad as Chrome.
Use brave.
Chromium based. No thanks.
Forked from de-googled chromium and has a decent built in adblocker along with tor support. (Also the owner of Brave software is the inventor of JavaScript and got kicked out of Mozilla because he has some conservative views.)
Cloudflare shutdown https://magaimg.net/ They will do it to this site also.
What was their reasoning behind that?
pretty much the same as td on reddit.
They don't need a reason. Muh private platform.
I haven't felt this cozy in over 4 years.
This is a place of love. Love for our great country!
https://magaimg.net/ Was shutdown by Cloudflare, it will happen here. We need plan C.
Agreed. Sitelock, Sucuri, Azure WAF, something else needs to be lined up as a backup.
We need a decentralized web hosting service
I hate to be the one to ask, but now that we're here, we need to have a backup to our backup? What's the plan for when/if the hosts are pressured to shut this site down as well? Surely pushing us off reddit was not the final step
You're definitely not the only one to ask. People were concerned about it long before today. We don't have an answer still.
The mods who set this place up had it up waaaaay before they announced it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they already had a backup plan at the ready.
I’m going to keep saying it. A decentralized web hosting service.
Is there a way to cut off the css here?
https://thedonald.win/p/46AcRfd/for-dark-mode-users-on-firefox--/c/ You can do whatever you want to override stuff here.
Here we are using clodflare. They are known to shutdown right wing sites
Fuck reddit.
Whats the point of reddit if they become just another liberal lefty echo chamber? They've wrecked it for conservative leaning people :(

I have just deleted my Reddit account, thedonald.win is my home now!
Just deleted my reddit acct and signed up here. About fuckin time, too.
i saw on that BB article that over 100,000 people have migrated here in the last like 2 days. how many pedes are here now?
I love it here "...and I see a whole army of my countrymen, here, in defiance of tyranny. You've come to meme and shit post as free men, and free men you are."
AND WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THAT FREEDOM!?
Everybody new here from reddit. Do not go back. We were a huge part of Reddit's traffic, which is why they never did and still haven't outright banned the sub. I am very happy there are people that had the foresight and knowledge to create this community out of the bounds of reddit.
The lamp is lit. The slippers at our feet. So cozy here.
Does anyone else feel like we are just giving up and running scared. We should be all over reddit annoying them and dropping redpills. If we just all leave and come here it feels like we are giving them exactly what they want. They will have successfully silenced us and we helped them do it. we have taken the high ground and there's a bridge straight to us. wait till we start to crowdfund, we will be 100x more powerful.
If this is our new home, we need to fund it before things come to a screeching halt from the demand. Let's get a crowdfund going.
Back again. I will be spending time I used to spend on the other place here. Things went to hell quickly back there.
I normally hate to, but all the support we can give, not to mention free market appeal we can drive, will be needed.
rantingly sent me!
So will y'all make this a place for people on the right with subs for various other topics than Trump? It is NEEDED since the left is in all out war against the right. I am sick of them and their offensive and insane mental illness rages and violence against people with sense and sanity.
Took me a while but finally got logged on , onwards and upwards frens!?
That can be fixed in a jiffy, they just need to start a crowdfund. you will be amazed at the amount of capital they will receive.
I'll be checking here instead of T_D (assuming it still exists by next Monday) from now on - I usually lurk over there but I've had enough of the bullshit. It's like a bunch of 12th graders are running Reddit and don't at all see the irony of what they're doing.
welcome home !!!!!!!!!
Hello everyone! I came straight from a Breitbart story with this link to sign up. KAG 2020
"Faggot Reddit" Kek
I wasn’t a Reddit user but saw about all this on Rantingly and also would love to see mass migration away from Reddit. I can’t stand all the ridiculous censorship.
I’m surprised there isn’t a QAnon thread on here. Was that topic banned in Reddit?
Awesome. Wasn't part of Reddit but good things have come from this attempt to silence the moderators....I'm now part of this!
I can feel new pedes hopping over from REDdit. We need moar bandwidths! This train has no brakes!
