How about they put up a counter and users online tracker like Reddit has? Is that a very complicated piece of code to reproduce?

No its super simple. I could do it in a half a day, and I'm not very good. Whoever built this could do it in 2 hours, guaranteed.

However if you're new here, the reason they stated a while ago was they didn't do it yet because the low initial numbers might be discouraging. (It was maybe 20k pedes 3 months ago)
