Recent polls have him way down. He addressed the numbers saying he knew he “would pay the price” but he did the right thing. Basically, he’s got 2 years until he’s up for re-election and he’s betting his constituents aren’t mad anymore by then.

You know we mormons dislike him too right? Theres polls indicating how much repubs here dont like him, theres calls to recall him, and some of us think he rigged it so he could be the candidate. Blaming mormons aint doing any favors
