Anybody got a sense of when this market madness will stop? Down 4+% in a day is bananas. Appreciated Trump’s press conference but surprised to see the blood hasn’t stopped.

It's largely due to the reduced commerce b/c countries that are quarantining their people and, thus, their factories are not producing goods they sell (GDP). That's something that you cannot stop until their factories reopen.
