need better responsiveness, and we need the ability to preview posts with the + and when you click a post, it brings up a modal you can dismiss. Reddit got this part of the UX right. Emulate it. This site is painful to navigate.
Mods, if you need help on the frontend, I can't promise I have a lot of time, but I'm willing to help, and have decades of experience building big software systems.
Me too, Brave is the best! It is a bit slow but I'm very impressed and grateful for this site and the workour mods do!!! It will get better as time goes on!
Did you sign a 20 page non disclosure and IP assignment agreement when you started at your employer? If I were the mods I’d be worried about a big tech co finding out an employee contributed to engineering or coding on this site because the bastards might sue and claim ownership.
Doesn't the IP agreement usually only apply to anything you wrote on their hardware/software/company time? Pretty sure a company is not legally allowed to own all the work you do ever just because they employ you. If that is the agreement you signed, then you're getting fucked and should get out ASAP.
How about beginning work on a true free speech integrated platform? We need a new free speech Twitter, Reddit and app repository that is not controlled by Silicon Valley.

Almost unusable on mobile for me. Pixel 3 XL on Chome.
Hate complaining. Admins/Mods are God's.
I'm on brave it's ok

I find brave to be way faster than every other browser, I think the server isn't rated for the traffic the site is getting.
I remember hating AOL dialup so I think I used Earthlink. Connect on my 14.4Kbit modem. I also remember saving up my money to get a 28.8 modem.
It didn't take forever back then because we didn't expect it to be fast.
Pixel 3A here, everything loads just fine on brave browser. UX is fine too, expand/collapse works as intended. Maybe change your mobile browser?
I can live with it. Thanks tho ?
edit: on second thought, fuck Google. I'll try Brave.
You definitely won't regret it!
My Pede!
Using FireFox on an iPhone and it’s working well.

Yep. And big tech companies love crushing potential competitors. The social media companies in particular.
You could contribute anonymously. I'm guessing your employer doesn't know you as BigDogsEat :)

I'm willing to donate time developing as well. actually own a development shop and I can probably get about 10 guys to contribute time
Ha! find out when the China cucks come out.
Cool idea, but AWS severs to run ML models would be expensive.
Maybe try and message the admins!
Wow! You sir, rock.

Try this.
Go into Your settings (gear in upper right)
Turn ON Auto expand embeds
I just happened to come across it while checking things out. So much smoother.
Now, if I can find where Saved posts are.....
I can’t do software but I could bake some cupcakes for you all.
