I've considered myself left-leaning for most of my adult life. That started changing around 5 years ago.

The censorship on the left has become absolutely insane. The violence from the left has become absolutely insane. The narrative from the left has become absolutely insane.

Today's censorship of The_Donald is absolutely nuts. I might vote Trump just as a "fuck you" to the left.

Careful, that’s how a lot of us started. Soon you’ll be posting Pepe memes and wearing a MAGA hat.

If you’re just starting down the rabbit hole, an adventure awaits you. If you still consider yourself on the left you’ll begin to question your entire identity, because today’s left is entirely a manufactured narrative. None of it really exists.

You’ll see it once you’re on the outside. It’s gonna blow your mind. Good luck to you!

Signed, an ex-leftie of 35 years, and now full MAGA.

anyone who steps out of line with the MSM talking points is considered alt-right.

It’s hard to listen to the democrats because deciphering the lies is just so tiresome

Thank you for posting this. It is a huge fuck you to the establishment and when the call to arms comes the guillotines will be brought to the public square. The games are over. It's time to play for keeps. This is my country and they will have to kill me before I give it up.

Edit: your country, too. Our country.

And welcome to the new person.

This just made my night

"This is my country, they'll have to kill me! get the guillotines!"

"Oops, sorry, OUR country."

"Also hi to the newbie"

I fuckin love you, pede. Here's a coat ?

A classic. It's just beautiful that he didn't intend it to be used the way it was, and yet it wound up being the best Trump ad ever made.

Just proves that he actually understands exactly, precisely how we regular people feel about it all, and yet he still can't grasp how he's on the wrong side.

(Or, like so many others, "they" have dirt on him and he has no choice but to publicly posture as being on the wrong side, or else...)

Soon, that video will have to be re-titled "The Second-Biggest Fuck You in American History".

It’s hard to believe Michael Moore made this. This is the one time I’ll give him kudos.

He wrote and performed the speech. The music and imagery was added by a pede before the 2016 election to make it powerful.

You'd be absolutely amazed as to how many of us are exactly the same. I spent most of my life voting D mostly because Neocons were absolutely horrible, but after several eye opening moments such as the push for Islam, the rise of the warmonger Democrat, child sexualization, and "Hate speech" I switched to supporting Trump heavily and voted R for the first time in 2016. He may not be perfect but he certainly is effective at dismantling the overreach of government is every day lives, has pushed and maintained peace for years, and if the media hates him he must be doing something very right because they are the enemy of us as citizens.

So many of us here care solely about liberty and freedom of speech and the bill of rights over party allegiance. A huge influx of us (not me however) were Bernie Bros who saw the writing on the wall and have realized the dangers that socialist policies carry with them. It's all about authoritarian politics vs liberty politics, and emotion vs rationality.

So welcome and stay a while, I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised.

Former Bernout here. And I gotta say, having the pics to prove that I marched for Bernie in 16, and I'm now pushing Trump with my heart and soul, has opened a few minds that probably would've remained shut.

I'll forever appreciate the welcome I received at T_D. I thought I would be ridiculed and I was ready for it, Instead I got "Nice to have you, take a seat, there's no brakes on the TrumpTrain!"

??

I obviously have my bias being a Trump supporter. But it'd be a good vote if you are against the censorship and violence. They need to he taught a lesson that Americans arent going to take it anymore.

I was the oppisite. I was a Bush repub. Then McCaine and then Romney. I look back and I am ashamed that I voted for any of those asshats.

I am full on Trump. I hate all hard core conservative dickheads.

With that being said. Welcome to theTrump Train.

WinstonSmith1984 9 points ago +9 / -0

I'm with you, but really, what were our options? Indoctrinated Communist plant Obama, or the two assholes you mentioned.

I was extremely disappointed in McCain. Part of me still tries to believe it was the tumor that turned him against his oath.

WinstonSmith1984 13 points ago +13 / -0

Welcome:) FWIW, I'm apparently now a far right lunatic, but for most of my life I've considered myself a Liberal, in that I believe in Liberty. I haven't changed much of my core beliefs, if any, since high school, but the political discourse and the labels have sure gone nuts around me.

10
LowbloodHighEnergyRI 10 points ago +10 / -0

Same deal with me, I even went on phish tour for 2 years when I was 18 & 19, kek. I voted for 0zero first term, then got so fed up with politicians straight up lying to us to get elected, I basically quit politics. That all changed with Trump in 2015, there was just something different with his rise. Now I'm apparently a far right, /pol/ reading, bigot, Nazi, xenophobe, deplorable.

WinstonSmith1984 7 points ago +7 / -0

LOL, Welcome to the Machine:)

I was a starry-eyed Repub for a long time. They were all lying to us.

Since they took over T_D, I tried visiting r/politics and I notice they keep doing the two same things over and over again: 1) Mind-reading, attributing all sorts of evil and crazy thoughts and motives to everyone they disagree with, and 2) Hysterical future predictions, which never come true, but they flesh their imaginings out with so much anger and lurid detail that they work themselves up into a tizzy over it. When the predictions don’t come true, I don’t think they actually notice, because they’ve already moved on to the next imaginary hysteria they are certain is coming.

5
Troll 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah, they work themselves up in a tizzy, getting angry at events which never and will never happen.

6
Spezisapedovore 6 points ago +6 / -0

Please do. I'm an Independent. I only registered Republican to vote for Trump in the primary because in this God-forsaken shit hole of a state, Independents can't vote in the Republican primary. I jumped on the Trump train because I was sick to death of both parties and knew on outsider was our only chance. The results speak for themselves and prove I was right.

1776-or-1984 3 points ago +3 / -0

What state can't you vote for Trump as a non-Republican, Cali?

1
Spezisapedovore 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes. Completely different ballots, but again that's for primaries only.

Former Independent, now registered Republican. I was not all in for DJT until I really started paying attention to what he said and did. After watching my first rally, I was sold. Never looked back. Haven't regretted it for a single moment. He keeps his promises and truly cares about people.

You will enjoy this video my friend.

https://youtu.be/UDL3Yjl31K8

2020 will be an even bigger FU.

This was taken out of a documentary called Trumpland that Michael Moore did in 2016. After this clip he says, "For a day, or a week, or maybe even a month" and proceeds to say how we will all regret it. I think more people regret not voting for him now 3 years on. KAG 2020.

The cut though and imagery you see there were worked by some pede and became a hugely powerful ad for him leading up to the election. I think YouTube took the original down which is why it has so little views.

I might vote Trump just as a "fuck you" to the left.

Do it, that's how i started to learn to MAGA

4
molecularpimpin 4 points ago +4 / -0

Why wouldn't you vote for Trump though? Is there a big single issue that you think is just too important that Trump doesn't seem to care about (like global warming or something)?

Same here. Grew up in Oregon, very left wing, schools have also been very left leaning. After visiting TD for the first time, that changed. Have been a Republican supporter for a long time now.

I am not a Republican or a Democrat, but I have never voted for a Democrat because they rig their own primaries and are obsessed with immutable characteristics.
