One thing to keep in perspective is that like 75% of the Chinese smoke, it’s a massive health problem. So the fact that a lot of the dead were smokers is kinda expected, whereas here in the states that would be an anomaly.

That being said I quit smoking about seven years ago and took up vaping instead. I smoked for 24 years and within two weeks of vaping I could smell stuff again. That turned out to be a double-edged sword, lol. Today I feel great.

I mix my own juice so I know what’s in it, and it costs me about $60 a year to vape vs the $60 a week to smoke. Definitely a nice cost savings.

I’m saving up for that Ferrari they told me I could always have if I didn’t smoke, lol.

Okay.

I read that 60 percent of Chinese men smoke and 2 percent of Chinese women.

I don't know. That's just what I read.

I DID read that this particular virus bonds and infects smokers better than non-smokers. It is a gene that is EXPRESSED in smokers, that is present in non-smokers, but is not expressed. Subtle stuff, that.

SO this might be a good time to stop smoking.

If you can.

I quit smoking as well and moved to vaping and eventually weened myself off vaping.

Now I hit the gym to vent my frustrations. I love it.
