Gone unless someone private mass downloaded its data before it was shut down. Couldn't find a magaimg data dump. The cloud company killed his service.
If i remember correctly, the reason was "illegal or rules violating" data was uploaded.
If that's the case, some magaimg content should be available through the wayback machine. I took a quick look, and it shows almost 30,000 image files, but a good number of those could be duplicates or spam. In the near future, I will back that up like I did with sli.mg. My ultimate goal is to create a complete archived copy of the The_Donald subreddit (and potentially .win as well, but I don't have the same fears about the memory hole with this as I do reddit). I currently have all posts and comments up until August 2019, 300 GB of scraped reddit-hosted images from that time period, and about 30,000 hits (out of 37k images) from the previously mentioned sli.mg archive. I will create a post once the frontend is a little more usable, but figured a few people on here would like to know that a good chunk of our data is safe.

Yeah, basically someone mysteriously always uploads child porn onto these image hosting sites and they get taken down / risk jail time for staying up.
I second the suggestion for catbox.moe. On Reddit, my images linking to that site got shadow-removed, but it’s been around for several years now, and it works very well.
It's actually a good business model. There's so much demand for a conservative image host that we all flock there when a decent one appears.
It gets so popular that Bloomberg or some other rich Dem offers big bucks to buy it. They then shut it down.

I set it up back in 2017. It went mostly unused until recently but I left it online in case the time came when it would be useful. I'm happy to see it is being used. I'll quote a comment I just posted elsewhere for a bit of info.

A couple of the things I plan on doing are adding an upload via url option and upload via clipboard option (thanks to u/The-Russian-Asset for the suggestion). I will also be making it so after uploading, you are sent directly to the image instead of having to copy the link from the page. I will also be making the site more mobile friendly.

When you create your profile, you get a meme folder to store your memes. Memes are stored under categories in your meme folder. Categories are combined across users' meme folders and shown on the front page. You can also view a category directly.
I took this project on to learn more about graph databases and their associated technologies. Pretty cool stuff.

The key to using imgur is that you have to 'open image in new window' and then get that image link and post THAT, not the wrapper page
Honestly we have at least a few pedes here that can set up an image hosting system. They should get in contact with the site admins, and the potential app developer, to have a dedicated image hosting system for this site/app specifically. I’m sure it could be done, right?

They can... and will just blacklist the hotlinks from thedonald.win. They've blacklisted domains before for less, they will do it again. Imgur's user TOS is a bunch of bullshit with vaguery they can invoke at will to "make up a reason" to blacklist you. I speak from direct personal experience.
While blacklisting doesn't remove the content itself from Imgur, it functionally kills the ability to hotlink it here thereby making it useless for hosting.
Had no idea imgur participates in this nonsense. I'd like to see it happen or see evidence.. no offense to you and not claiming you're lying but I just never take hearsay as fact as a general rule.
