None of the shit you're hearing about the virus is true (but I know you guys already know that). If there was a REAL problem they would be doing everything in their power to downplay it. This is all political at this point.
This is more infectious than SARS, the long incubation period is what makes this virus a bitch. I do expect it to hit the US more so than it already had because of California. That said, it’s still mostly panic, mortality rates are low.
Hopefully the market will bounce back strong after the next few inevitable red days.
Well, from what I'm seeing, it took about 18 days for WuFlu to reach the same number of people infected that it took SARS its entire 18 month run to infect. I think we might be looking at what everyone was panicked SARS would become.
Remember MERS, the camel-based coronavirus? More people have died of WuFlu in Iran than ever caught MERS to begin with, so you probably don't remember MERS at all.
More people have had WuFlu since it was discovered in December than have had Ebola... since it was discovered in 1979.
The Zika panic from a few years ago - remember it? WuFlu infected more people during the first week in February than Zika did during its entire run.
At this point i'm not too worried about the wuflu, but if my city panics, or the stock market tanks in full, I'm not sure I have enough rice and TP saved up yet. Our monthly budget in my household is tight. I've been looking for extra work so we can scrape some more dough together for supplies before people go ape shit.
speaking of which, if we have prayer pedes in da house, I could use prayer power for the safety and health of my ElderPedes, and that I land a really nice PT job...fast.
Prep isn't just having a few bags of supplies around
It's knowing what you're going to do once the 7 day mark passes
Where's your potable water coming from?
Where's your heat coming from?
Where's your waste going to go?
What are you going to do when people you don't know start knocking on your door demanding your supplies?
How ready are you to spend more than an hour walking anywhere?
How ready are you to do that while carrying a pack full of supplies?
Prepping is having a bunch of stuff, but also a mindset of thinking out a number of plans ahead of time so that whatever situation arises you can handle it, or at least get started on handling it while you work on a better plan
Even with limited resources having a plan ready to go means you are ahead of everyone else around you, which means you can maximize your opportunity by being able to act quicker
Whats confusing is the MSM was downplaying it at first. They said it was all okay nothing was wrong, and if we so much as asked about the virus we were racist!
Then China got caught lying, and Trump banned travel from China, and the MSM was talking about Trump saying he went to far.
Now the MSM is all about that Coronalife, and are blaming Trump for not taking action quick enough, even though he took decisive action quickly by banning travel from China.
Because the left is out of ideas to try to take down GEOTUS and they're making this shit up as they go along. Or, their overlords are, I mean. They're just parrots.
What do you mean NONE of it? This is a reckless statement to make, at minimum thousands of people are dead. Iran, South Korea and Italy all have hundreds of cases and it is spreading rapidly there. Japan really did shut down their entire school system. This is all true man don't fool people into being careless.
I feel bad for Japan having so many neighboring governments not taking serious precautions like they are. Just makes their job more difficult.
I don’t know if it was the entirety of Japan’s school system though, was it? I was talking to someone in Japan on Thursday morning and I believe it’s just a lot of Prefectures. Still a massive deal though.

Who would've thought that shitting in the streets could lead to a pandemic?
In about a month we hit spring, and this shit will be old news.
Gonna wait a few more days and load up on more stock.
