Age discrimination is a real problem faced by many. That's why age is a protected class, along with sex, and race and the rest. My point is that age discrimination is hate speech and allowing "ok Boomer" affects every group and Reddit allows it. They may be a private company, but they are NOT allowed to freely discriminate against a protected class.

It's often used as a way for those who are incapable of substantively arguing an issue to get out of having to defend their position.
This happens a tenth as often as boomers claim a monopoly on wisdom and knowledge due to being old or (in most cases) mistakenly thinking they made their own way in the world.

Its more of the 'they want us divided' strategy the leftists use. If you antagonise and hype up self-attack then just like an immune system busy attacking its own host, the country can get invaded while defenses that ought be arrayed against the invaders are busy and distracted.
