If you are elderly and have existing illnesses your chances are higher due to the pneumonia. Don't panic people, the media are trying to start a panic.

Age of Coronavirus Deaths

Based on all 72,314 cases of COVID-19 confirmed, suspected, and asymptomatic cases in China as of February 11, a paper by the Chinese CCDC released on February 17 and published in the Chinese Journal of Epidemiology [1] has found that the risk of death increases the older you are, as follows: COVID-19 Fatality Rate by AGE:

*Death Rate = (number of deaths / number of cases) = probability of dying if infected by the virus (%). This probability differs depending on the age group. The percentage shown below does NOT represent in any way the share of deaths by age group. Rather, it represents, for a person in a given age group, the risk of dying if infected with COVID-19.

How do these statistics compare with plain old flu?

US Influenza has a death rate of about 0.1% on average for those that get it. COVID-19 is estimated somewhere around 2 -3% for those who get it. US rates will probably be less but that's speculation.

The health risk in the US appears low. Even if many get infected, it shouldn't be too bad. The real risk is in the stock market, which is why the fake newsers are pumping the fear as much as possible. They are desperate to hurt Trump 2020. It is their only goal for now. I guess China may have even started this on purpose to hurt Trump's economy since it's his most visible achievement of the last 3 years.

Looks like below age 50 your odds of dying are around 1 in 300 or less. And then you prolly need to have heart disease and smoke Chinese cigarettes on the regular. (I smoked a pack of Chinese cigarettes once and believe me death would have been welcome.)

I made a post yesterday from the x22Report with Dave Janda (link below). He talks about the virus and how it might be geared to Asian physiology and also smokers because of how it affects the lungs. I've read other reports saying similar things. So time will tell but yes age and physical health have a lot to do with it.
