There's no cure and its a true curse on everyone in the family. Many give up and turn their backs if they have the option.
The authorities are the same way really. Nobody wants to deal with these kind of people or their problems. Personally I suspect that is part of the problem.. but I'm not blaming anybody. It's very tiring and sometimes just impossible to hold people back from inflicting harm.
Yep, you get it. There’s not a whole lot you can do if the person doesn’t want help, and will fight you every step of the way trying to get them help.
I don’t have an answer for this problem, maybe they should re-open the mental institutions. It’s just hard because there is a lot of stigma and bad PR surrounding places like that.
