I sincerely believe suicides will continue to be a problem as long as we're trying to tell people who arguably should be getting mental health care that they don't need help. I've had counseling for PTSD and I'm certain if veterans were all told oh don't worry the headaches, bad dreams, stress, and anxiety are normal just enjoy yourself, I'd probably put a gun in my mouth. There's no shame in getting help to process irrational emotions

Completely agree, unfortunately we're going from "you have bipolar disorder, you need help" to "you have bipolar disorder, celbrate it! Yay!"
