'gente' means people, especially a people. So it's a play on the word gentrified, and given that it's on Netflix it was probably a middling faux-comedy with lots of woke jokes and maybe an inept white male for their comedic foil.

Just guessing at that last part, but I liked the first maybe five episodes of One Day At A Time so I've got some experience in the genre (:
