If this prediction takes place, the “Republican” party will be exposed as the second half of the mask slips. Another unproductive, Paul Ryan type situation will shine a light on their allegiance to the uniparty as opposed to their constituents.

All I can say is I hope you’re wrong

Each and every one would fall on the sword to protect the party if asked. When the party line is split so evenly, it takes fewer sacrifices by fewer seat holders to control the flow of the vote. Gang of 8 only needs to be gang of 6 or even just 3 to completely shift nay to yea.

Example: Jeff Flake during SC justice vote.

Exactly. Is it replaced by more uni-party, or do Trumpocrats come out in force and actually do something.

I thought we had it in the bag in 2016, until reality struck in the form of Paul Ryan.

We always have to default to individualism. Party and President mean nothing. They are a means to keep our independence from group think and eventual tyranny.

The Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for Bernie's popularity and the party's full embrace of Socialism.

When AOC and her ilk were elected, the Dem talking point was that Trump was a sexist and a racist. So what better way to fight him than to prop up these new group of minority women and put them front and center.

Make them and everything they stand for the face of the Democrat party.

Democrat leaders knew these women were hard core Socialists/Communists but they didn't care because all they wanted to do was damage Trump while the 'insurance policy' kicked in and they could remove Trump through their coup.

Well, their coup attempt failed and Dem leaders have backed off a little on promoting their Socialist darlings but the damage has already been done.

Every shot the Dems take at Trump ends up hitting their own foot. They have dug themselves a huge hole embracing Socialism. But if this prediction is correct and the GOP retakes the House Majority, we must be effective.

I think Kevin McCarthy will be a more effective speaker then Paul Ryan. He doesnt seem anti trump. I could be wrong.

McCarthy is the most boring sleep inducing career politician they could find to lead House GOP. He comes across as weak, ineffectual and pathetic. 100% beta. My attention wanders when I see his face now - a conditioned response. I wish GOP had the vision and balls to put a skilled MAGA speaker and fighter in there.

Drive the dems Into their holes, fill in holes.

Jordan is the only choice for Speaker, McCarthy is the second coming of Paul Ryan.

Socialist take over of the Democratic party will destroy it. You have democrats fleeing from the dems to Republicans in droves due to Bernie.
