We have to limit immigration to meritocratic methods, yes. A person must only be allowed to enter when allowing them in benefits us, because we know it will benefit them. There is something to be said for selecting those with pro America views before they enter, not doing so is irresponsible.

But the idea that we cannot win hearts and minds, that people are destined to vote one way or to support an opposing ideology is defeatism, no two ways about it. It is simply untrue, you and I both stand as a testament to this fact.
