These were found to be a cause of significant performance issues.

Who technically "owns" the site? It's obvious that the amount of traffic this site is getting is not on par with the server it is hosted on.
You can ask them directly in a message, but I doubt you’ll get an answer on that particular question. It’s funded and run by a handful of the mods. That is all we know for sure.

On mobile, it's quicker now during off-peak hours, but it was taking 30 seconds to hit new pages on my humble Stupidphone during prime time. Having only 2 gigs of memory isn't helping. We really need to make an official call to Pede devs to get an app started. That would also be a great promotional tool, and could be used to gather donations - though, Google Play will be ruled out doing that as it's against policy, I believe.
Does "tags" mean the search function?
Any word on this being fixed?
