I've been a long time fan of the technology related site ArsTechnica as they cover all sorts of tech stories ranging from obscure stuff like emulation to mainstream smart phone news. However, since 2016 they've become more political posting fear mongering stories about Trump, Global Warming and now have latched onto the coronavirus. Not only do their users hope the containment effort by our administration fails for this virus, but if you post anything that questions to climate change scripture or is pro-Trump you will soon find your replies down voted into oblivion and account banned.
With that said I was wondering if there's any other tech related news sites on the Internet comparable to ArsTechnica? Since the site has started with their pro-socialist agenda I've just lost too much respect for it to continue to use it on a daily basis. I've already adblocked the shit out of their site with custom scripts I've created, but I rather just not be exposed to the ignorant moderators and users who censor and try to silence anyone who does buy into their horse shit 100%.
"Are All Nerds Now Socialists?"
They are if they want a job. Just a guess.
Just an update. I blocked arstechnica.com in my firewall, hosts file and Internet router so this way no one using my computer or Internet connection can access the domain regardless if they type in the URL or not. The site will be receiving no traffic from my Internet connection. Period. I'd advise anyone else with a half a brain left that doesn't want to be ridiculed and censored by Liberals who supported a pedophile to do the same.
Though, this now leaves me wanting to find another site that covers Tech news as I'll be out of the loop on various developments they covered. Does anyone know a good tech site that does like any good tech site should do and not cover politics and of course is not infested with budding socialists?!?
Ars Technica went the way of Slashdot. They started out as news by nerds for other nerds, gained commercial success, then sold out and turned into a shell of their former selves.
Also remember that PeterB (Peter Bright) from Ars was arrested last year for pedophilia, and he was a fixture on the site for over two decades. I used to butt heads with him in the Ars Battlefront back in the late 90s.
I wasn't aware their top admins supported pedo's, but it explains the IQ levels and positions of some of the sites top posters. Remember, these people claim to support science and technology, but claim that you can't lose weight by exercise and diet (they agree with the CNN/Liberal agenda of "fat acceptance"). I'll be adding their internet URL to my Internet Router's built in site block list right after I click "save" on this reply.
Hardware types are almost uniformly conservative. You know that you have to compromise with Mother Nature, and not the other way around.
Software types are almost uniformly liberal. And socialist Thank My Favorite Marxist, the Flower Sex Guy, Richard Stallman, who does it with a GNU every day. They believe that they are the masters of their world, they can bloat as much as they like and it will always work (as long as the hardware guys deliver)...
Peter Bright was arrested, charged and found guilty of soliciting a minor https://heavy.com/news/2019/06/peter-bright-dr-pizza/
You've been reading (and apparently enjoying) a site run by pedophiles and leftists.... reading tarot cards is better for your health, and probably more accurate than Ars.
Damn. That does explain the ignorance and arrogance. You should see them deny that exercise or diet can make you lose weight. I guess after finding this out I'll blacklist the domain in my Internet router. I don't want to give a bunch of Liberal pedophile supporters any revenue from accidental web traffic.
