But, I mean, remembering how damned arrogant and shitty they were to me when I approached and tried speaking to them across the "aisle", human to human, during Summer of 2016, I feel less bad.

I live in this God forsaken town just as much as they do. There's thousands of Trump supporters in Portland. Thinking that their voices were the only ones that "deserve" to be heard, or should be allowed, is how they ended up being so surprised in November of that year.
