Ordinarily I advocate people stand their ground and fight. But I left California and I recommend you do the same.

28
YouKnwNthgJonSnow 28 points ago +28 / -0

Agreed. I just don’t see us taking back California anytime in the foreseeable future. I’m from the Midwest, and my brother moved out to California for a few years. He loved the weather and said a lot of the people were nice, but actually did not become politically active until after he moved out there because he had never seen what living with a bunch of leftists is actually like. Ended up moving back home and is so much happier. California pedes should move to swing states.

Im packing up and leaving for the Dallas Texas literally Today. Two separate beer aids cases one in Solano, the other in San Jose, 2 possible in Palo Alto. We know the cucks in charge of California wont do anything until it's a crises. Several different ways this virus thing can go down, but frankly I can watch them unfold from Dallas, rather than being at ground zero in the SF Bay Area

Just be careful about where you move. All of the big cities are cucked. They are surrounded by burbs that are more based. Property taxes are very high here due to no income tax.

AwakeAwareNow 6 points ago +6 / -0

Which is where they are infiltrating.. Texas can succeed and they want to control Texas like CA.

OC went full on blue when the Dems figured out they could cheat every election with ballot harvesting.

Constantly importing illegals didn't help, either.

rooftoptendie 10 points ago +10 / -0

THIS!!!!

I'm a westcoast pede, and all up and down the coast, we are being HELD HOSTAGE on CITYSTATE PLANTATIONS with RIGGED VOTES.

Anyone who thinks "Oh just move" has clearly never read 'The Jungle' by Upton Sinclair.

What they do to us in liberal strongholds is tantamount to indentured servitude. We need federal intervention. Which, thankfully, we are beginning to get right now. When Popmeo told the Governors they were on a list, I whooped and hollered at the TV... I could hear politicians across the entire west coast just spontaneously shit their pants all at once.

Then we got the ruling that GEOTUS can yank federal funds from sanctuary cities and states, and I kek'd for joy again!

I bet you a bazillion dollars the whooole west coast is gonna get hit HARD with the WuFlu, because its the only way these west coast states can drum up that sweet sweet federal money without kicking out their illegal voter-base. Theyre gonna stay sanctuaries, get their funding yanked, then discover they have ten million cases of WuFlu, shut down schools and transport, and scream at the top of their lungs for money just like that bitch in Puerto Rico did, mark my fucking words.

I love the land I was born on and the natives I grew up with, but I HATE what they have done to us. It is beautiful out here, and people are awesome. But if you come out here now, go to any major city and start asking people if they were born there.

They turned the west coast cities into on-land slave ships, and they just keep pouring in more and more and more slaves from all over the country and all over the world, and now its just unrecognizable in most cities from what it was pre 1990.

Its to the point now where if my city crumbled into a heap of rubble, all the non-natives would be crying and weeping, and all the native-borns would be standing on the rubble roasting weenies and laughing their asses of screaming "BURN, BABY BURN!!!! HAD ENOUGH YET? AHAHAHAHA!!! GO. HOME." And I know this is true because I've had many conversations with west coast pedes about this before.

GEOTUS is trying to save us from the slave-drivers!!!! I think he will win.

Grady_Wilson 8 points ago +8 / -0

Born and raised in So Cal, I've had the unfortunate experience of watching the state slowly turn into a shadow of its former self.

But I have a 4 year plan to move to a Free State.

Your prediction on how the state will cry for more Federal dollars is rather prophetic and I bet that is what will happen.

7
AwakeAwareNow 7 points ago +7 / -0

This! I thought it odd San Francisco and San Diego already called for state of emergency then Dems want to give more money.

5
BIG_TUNA 5 points ago +5 / -0

San Diego pede here. I think the only thing keeping this city somewhat rational is the strong military presence. OC isn't perfect either but it's all better than bay area by a long shot.

I've been here for 13 years and it's at the point now where I'm looking to just get out. I'm so tired of all the bullshit, not to mention the absurd cost of living. Not sure where I'll end up but I know it ain't gonna be California

OC's days as a Republican stronghold ended in the 90s when Loretta Sanchez beat Bob Dornan. Demographic changes wrecked that county.

"Critics suggested that the Trump policy violated the international law known as non-refoulement, which prohibits asylum seekers having to return to the dangerous places they reportedly fled."

smh I didn't know about this.. they whine and piss about Trump keeps kids locked in cages, so instead of having them wait here "in cages" until these "asylum seekers" can wait in the open fresh air of Mexico, and not be in cages until they get to be a legal American they want them to wait back here, but not in cages! They can wait in poor people cities I guess, as long as its not in my backyard right.

Anything short of spending our resources to accomodate poor people who come here in droves, that simply have to say it was "really bad" where they came from, whether its true or not.. Is not acceptable in California LOL. I don't even think a lot of people here in Cali particularly want this shit to happen, its just the libtard force is so strong anything or anyone that opposes these extreme views will get ripped apart by their own kind.

15
kono_hito_wa 15 points ago +15 / -0

8
YouKnwNthgJonSnow 8 points ago +8 / -0

The Left doesn’t even care about the whole cage thing. That started under Obama and they didn’t give a shit. They need illegals here to fatten up their voter rosters. It is ONLY about the votes to them.

5

We left in December of 2015 to Ohio.

I miss Ca weather. But that is it.

Ohio is amazing

7
Banick088 7 points ago +7 / -0

I was raised in Orange County and lived in Los Angeles now for 14 years.

It is disgusting, they keep impacting the tiny areas with more and more people.

Marina Del Rey (my home), Santa Monica, South Bay, Beverly Hills and Malibu are the only nice places. The rest is LITERALLY worse than a third world country.

I have decided to retreat to a more defensible position and moving to take the fight to Austin Texas. Well, 20 miles outside the city just south of Lake Travis.

CA is a lost cause, the brainwashing here makes people into violent slaves.

Most moderates and libertarians like me are leaving, with the internet many don't have to go into an office.

The city is dying at an ever increasing pace as only the insane rich and the hyper poor move here. Everyone in the middle class or upper class is leaving, only the super rich stay.

With Hollywood dying and their "Silicone Beach" losing ground every quarter to TX, the state is going down.

I tried my fellow Pede's .... I really did. But at some point an indefensible position must be left to its fate.

3
OhLollyLollyPop 3 points ago +3 / -0

Austin is a leftwing cesspool because of UT and the tech companies. We stopped going there about 10 years ago. They teach little kids as young as 8 about deviant sex practices. It's the nastiest part of Texas. Living outside the city limits will help you avoid it a little bit, but the burbs are now full of people escaping Austin, but still are leftists.

At this rate we need a wall around CA as well.

6
Brookes 6 points ago +6 / -0

I feel ya! Elder Pede here stuck in the once wonderful wine country. Now it’s homeless central thanks to our shitty board of Supervisors and city council comrades.

Paying outrageous gas price taxes that never give a dime to fix our crappy pothole ridden roads. The money all goes to that stupid smart train that nobody uses or the so called bullet train to freaking nowhere!

And we’re overrun with illegals and liberals, not sure which one is the worst.

Couple more years and Arizona here we come! Not soon enough.

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Arizona is going blue because of Cali leftists who only left to save money. They still vote the same instead of assimilating to the local culture.

work up the relationship where it’s cool if you ask to

  • go shoot guns together
  • lift weights
  • go to city council meetings

you have to build relationships or your will lose the morale fight. true defeat will be on its heels

I know how you feel. I live here too and try to be grateful for the beautiful weather, the fact my family is all here, I have a decent home (which I could never afford to buy in the current market). The demographic shift is unbearably to watch..I feel like a stranger in a foreign land. The flood of illegal aliens have taken over and our politicians bend over to make their lives easier while punishing our citizens with high taxes to pay for all the free giveaways.. They push for these taxes under false pretenses too. Newsom trying to overturn Prop 13 under the guise of it will help fix all our deteriorating schools..and panders to the poor communities..hey what happened to all the money from the lottery ? Remember that money was to fix all the schools! The DMV tax hike and Gas tax to fix the roads?? Thats all BS..its to pay for all the free shit they give to the illegals and their families and kids, while we live with the increasing depression of watching our lives being destroyed. Sorry for the rant..I'm so pissed!

They currently pay no price for it. They live behind the walls of gated communities, fly private jets to their destinations, and only hang out in places with armed security surrounding them.

They make money off of selling the rest of us out. They are the ultimate traitors to this country and they pay no price for it. They keep accruing a larger and larger base of dependent voters and no one gives them a reason to stop

Shit like this is why I'm glad di live in texas now. Much better place.

4
Nellie_the_Beaut 4 points ago +4 / -0

Fellow Calipede here! I agree with everything you said. Never felt so trapped, it’s beautiful geography here but the overwhelming liberal socialist, open boarders, super democrat majority government has ruined this place as far as a decent living environment. EVERYTHING is a jam packed crowded, multi step, regulated, expensive hassle. From grocery shopping, to going to the DMV to building a porch on your own house. Traveling anywhere by road is a nightmare. We just took a 200 mile trip to Sonoma and it took just under 6 hours each way - the bumper to bumper traffic and constant hold ups due to road work or detours due to ripped up roads was unbelievable. Air quality has taken a definite downturn since last fall when that huge fire took out thousands of aces of houses and structures near Santa Rosa. Devastating multi week wildfires and home fires are just a regular thing now due to all the unregulated squatters, illegals and homeless and lack of forestry management. We would leave tomorrow but our 15 year old business is connected to the state and can’t be transferred to anywhere else in the country. As born and raised lifelong Californians, it’s been tough witnessing this state literally deteriorate in front of us.

3
ohpleaseuhhelpame 3 points ago +3 / -0

Amazing how you feel the same as most Californians I know that have lived here for years...it is so unfortunate our voices are not being heard and our leaders do not give a damn about us. I wish we had a Trump here to expose the corruption and shut down our Southern border. I wish all those illegals that have Drivers licenses would get the hell off the roads! Our population has exploded..I hate going to my own neighborhood shopping center to grocery shop..I try to do most of my business during the week (which there is still tons of traffic) rather than on weekends..I use to take weekend jaunts to Palm Springs or San Diego, or the beaches but the casual drives have turned into hours and hours of traffic. I don't even frequent my local beach anymore because its full of homeless and drug addicts..and the streets are packed. Once where there were just stop signs have turned into 3 way traffic lights..I long for the peaceful laid back beach town I once enjoyed..

4
VaPnut 4 points ago +4 / -0

As someone in central California farm land that teaches I have a good feeling about the next generation of kids. It amazes me how much my students are more and more right wing in thought as years have progressed. It's also all our older teachers who are more left leaning. All of the younger teachers are more and more conservative. I do all I can to keep students open minded so when I do get a chance I try keeping a balanced outlook. Which always works cause even my students realize left leaning ideas are bat shit crazy.

New Hampshire pede here. I went to Lodi area a few years back for a week and then toured a good part of the state. Cali i have to say is the most beautiful place in this country, and I've been to 47 states. The entire state has a 'modern' feel completely unlike most of our country, and has the resources, weather, attractions, and infrastructure to be a virtual money making machine. People were very friendly. But everyone I met there was extremely stressed about taxes and finances. And business owners were very upset about red tape and regulations that can randomly destroy projects. If it wasn't for those concerns I would absolutely move there though I dearly love my birth state of NH.

What I usually tell people that want to leave california is that they can apply to work in one of many Texas prisons and detention centers, they pay well above the minimum wage and can get you out of there. The only thing is that some of them are legit in central Texas a couple of hours from most places. I know a couple of people that share a house in Big Springs while working in the prison to cut costs of living but most of them have their own hometowns where their families are at.

Monster, town-sized subdivisions with their own schools, parks, pools, etc. A company in FW just announced 3,500 new jobs. Gulfstream jets is moving here. BNSF is here and lots of auxiliary companies that need welders and fabricators. Lots of financial companies are in Westlake. If you are a conservative, please look into changing jobs and moving to red Tarrant County.
