Nothing in the media locally or anything but while I was doing my late night shopping I noticed there was just about nothing in the way of basic first-aid. The rubbing alcohol and peroxide were non-existent. I'm not suggesting you buy a truck load but I do suggest people have a few bottles on hand for just about any reason.
(Loads of food still but it's wise to have some stock.)
I just used a package of cream cheese that was 11 months past it's sell by date. I think the dip I made came out better for it. I was pretty surprised it hadn't started to spoil though. Even the premium brands seem to start spoiling along the seams of the foil.
