It floors me that they’re trying to kill vaping at the behest of big tobacco, to “save the children.”

Don’t believe me? Teen smoking rates are in the single digit percentages for the first time in history. Teens aren’t moving from vaping to smoking, because smoking tastes like shit in comparison. Vaping is also 100x better for you, though not doing anything is obviously the healthiest option.

So who exactly is this protecting? Big Tobacco stockholders. The Republicans better not push this through in the Senate.

And the government makes more money(taxes)off of tabacco sales.

This is retarded. Big Tobacco has HUGE stake in vaping products (ex: Vuse, Vibe, Solo, Harmony).

This is just an overreaction that makes the least popular Congress look like it has accomplished something.

Make no mistake, they are losing money from vaping. People are quitting cigarettes to vape.

Compare how much people spend on cigarettes compared to how much people spend on vaping supplies. You only need one vaping device and a charger (and come coil refills)

Big Tobacco doesnt regulate the juice that is made, neither does the FDA. They are losing money.

They DO regulate the eliquids produced by their own company. There's been a moratorium on enforcing FDA policies on the vaping industry until the spring of this year. After that, the only products legal to sell are those that have already been approved by the FDA or have an open application.

There is a great deal of money being made in vaping for the big companies once other "companies" that have virtually no oversight are shuttered by the FDA. This would prevent the vitamin E/acetate cartridges that caused vaping deaths.

Vape shops mix their own liquids and flavors. That's were many people get them.

Also, like I said, ask anybody who is a former smoker what they spent more money on, cigarettes or vaping....95 percent of the time they spent more money on cigarettes.
